The Pachakkari Vandi, eco friendly grow bag, micro green kitchen garden campaign and agriculture related competitions of Kudumbashree Thrissur District Mission is being a big hit in the district. Through Pachakari Vandi campaign the vegetable produced by the farming groups of Kudumbashree reach out to the public for sale. Kudumbashree women were also given training for making grow bags using 'paala' (arecanut leaf stalk). Also micro green kitchen garden campaign and agri related competitions in the name; Anubhavathile Krishi Manthrangal' is also being conducted for Kudumbashree members in the district.

Kudumbashree women make exemplary contribution to CMDRF Updated On 2020-04-24

Kudumbashree women in Alappuzha made it a point to contribute whatever little they have to the Chief Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund (CMDRF) to tide over the Covid 19 crisis. The Vellanad CDS amassed as much as Rs 2,03,300 to contribute towards the disaster mitigation efforts. The people have witnessed the onset of a huge deluge two times, in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Comprising of daily wage labourers, the women showed courageous attempts in the past by contributing  towards the flood relief efforts too. Money gathered from the Ayalkkoottam workers were handed over as a cheque by CDS chairperson Remya Santhosh along with Gramapanchayat president M.P. Sajeev to District Panchayat President G. Venugopal.

Kudumbashree Kozhikode District Mission's Agri challenge commences today (April 22). The aim of the challenge is to increase immunity through healthy eating habits by having organic vegetables and to give happiness to NHG members who are under lock down due to covid 19. The challenge named as Arogya Keralam- Janadhipathya Kudumbam- Visharahitha Bhakshanam' includes two part, one is Organic farming (vegetable challenge) and the other is Cookery competition (Micro green cookery show). Onlilne facilities are bieng used to conduct the competition. A total of 363 members registered for vegetable challenge and 312 members registered for micro green cookery show.

They serve breakfast lunch including meals or biriyani and dinner including chappathi and vegetable curry. These are served at reasonable rates to them.
