As many community kitchens are functioning in various locations across Palakkad district, to ensure the food security of the people as the lock down notified in the country to contain the spread of the covid-19 pandemic is progressing. Various community kitchens are effectively functioning in Attappady tribal settlement as well under the leadership of the Government of Kerala. When the supply of the vegetables from other states was stopped, Kudumbashree Palakkad District Mission has set a model by procuring from the tribal JLGs in Attappady and takes to the community kitchens in the hamlets and to the needy. The vegetables are procured under the leadership of ' Kani Gulume., a tribal enterprise unit of Kudumbashree.

Kudumbashree Kozhikode district mission is supplying food to the inmates in COVID 19 care centres in the district which is started by the district administration to keep the persons under quarantine. Ruchikkoottu, the canteen unit which is functioning under Kozhikode district mission is entrusted with this activity. This unit is supplying food, three times a day to COVID care centres which is functioning at IMG training centre and Lakshadweep guest house as per collector's order.

As the lock down notified in the country to contain the spread of Corona disease is extended, Kudumbashree Kasaragod District Mission had came up with an innovative programme for Kudumbashree NHG women. Artists from the Kudumbashree fraternity would make daily performances from the official Facebook page of Kudumbashree Kasaragode District Mission. They make their performances at 5 PM everyday, through Facebook live. The initiative was launched on 14 April, the vishu festival day. The artists would sing songs, folk songs, make performances like mimicr, monoact etc. The performances would be made by the talents from 'Kudumbashree Theatre', an initiative of Kudumbashree Kasaragod District Mission.

In Pathanamthitta district Kudumbashree supports Supplyco in packing and filling essentials Updated On 2020-04-15

Kudumbashree has spearheaded the packaging of essentials for Supplyco in Pathanamthitta district. Required number of cloth bags were manufactured by Kudumbashree, besides assisting the activities of Civil Supplies Department. Distribution of free food kits for 87 lakh families in the state as part of Kerala Government's Covid 19 mitigating activities is progressing so well. Readying and distribution of kits with essential materials for preparing food is currently on in the state. 250 Kudumbashree women are actively taking part in the making of kits in the district at various Supplyco depots.

Doctor @ home, a doctor on call service is a noteworthy service model implemented by Panniyannur CDS in Kannur district for providing medical and other medical assistance free of cost to the sick and those facing lifestyle diseases. Panniyannur Kudumbashree CDS came up with this idea to alleviate the difficulties faced by the locals when the lock-down was introduced to strengthen the Covid-19 defense. Kudumbashree Wayanad District Mission supplied gowns and caps to health workers in government hospitals who are part of covid 19 countering activities as well as  treatments. Wayanad District Administration gave the order for producing gowns and caps for doctors, nurses, attenders and lab technicians etc to Kudumbashree Wayanad District Mission during the start of this month. As per this order, Kudumbashree Wayanad District Mission have produced and supplied 3500 gowns and caps for 1700 health workers to the district administration.

Kudumbashree Malappuram District Mission take up the task of delivering the free ration and grocery kits to the remote tribal hamlets in the district Updated On 2020-04-13

Government of Kerala had announced free ration and food-grain kits for free to all families in the state, as the lock down notified in India to contain the spread of the covid-19 pandemic is ongoing in the country. It was a herculean task to take these and deliver it to the tribal families residing in the remote forest areas. Still, Kudumbashree Malappuram District Mission have taken up the task of delivering the free ration and grocery kits in the remote tribal hamlets in the district and set a unique model. It is as per the direction of the District Collector of Malappuram, the team including the Project Coordinator of Nilambur Special Tribal Project, Tribal District Programme Manager of Kudumbashree Malappuram District Mission and animators delivered the free ration and grocery kits to the remote tribal hamlets in the district. They had delivered the free ration and grocery kits to 836 tribal families until now.
