Saantwanam Kit Distribution - State Level
- Hotel Elite International, Thrissur
Saantwanam is one of the major ME actvities in the state. The function was inaugurated by Dist. Panchayat President Sheela Vijaya Kumar, presided by DMC, Thrissur and Dr. Vijaya Kumar, Director, HAP gave key note address. 20 Kits were distributed by HAP.

ST Promoter Animator Training
- DBCLC Hall, East fort, Thrissur
Kudumbashree, as a part of our Tribal programs, conducted a two-day training for ST promoters and Animators at DBCLC Thrissur, Classes were lead by DMC, ADMC and DPM's of Thrissur Mission. There is also a specialised session for Yoga, Leadership and group dynamics lead by professionals.

Pre Onam Market Inauguration

District Level inauguration of Pre Onam Market was done by Sri.V.S.Sunil Kumar ,Honourable Minister for Agriculture at Valappad CDS.Panchayath President Sri.Thomas Master presided over the function in which Smt.Geetha Gopi MLA was Chief Guest.Sri.K.V.Jyothish Kumar,District Mission Co-ordinator,Sri Shobha Subin ,District Panchayath Member ,Sri.Baiju Mohammed M.A ,Asst.Dustrict Mission Co-ordinator etc gave speaches.Smt.Mallika Devan,Chairperson ,Valappad CDS,presented vote of thanks.

DDU GKY Skill Day Celebration
- Skill pro Palakkad,Appolo medi skill Ernakulam
Regarding World skill day Thrissur District Mission conducted an Exposure visit for CDS chairpersons to PIAs ,Skill pro Palakkad and Apollo medi skills Ernakulam. The programme was scheduled on 15th July 2017.Total 66 CDS Chairpersons were divided by two groups and one group visited Apollo Medi Skill and other one to Skill Pro Palakkad. It was a first experience to our CDS chairpersons to visit an DDU GKY training centre . District Mission already shared programme schedule to both Centres. programme was started in the introductory speech from Centre Head. They made a detailed presentation regarding the agency and their achievements in this field. CDS Chairpersons interacted with placed candidates and they shared their experience. HR Managers of placement offered agency explained the quality of the students came as part of DDUGKY training. Running batch students also interacted with chairpersons and chairpersons enquired about student’s entitlements. CDS Chairpersons experienced the infrastructure facilities like biometric punching, CCTV, Class rooms, Demine Lab, Hostel etc.
Currently Interventions of CDS only in conducting identification of candidates and helping to organizing mobilization camps . As an outcome of these visit , Chairpersons perception totally changed .The exposure visit can help them to aware practical execution of DDU-GKY project.

Migration centre and Gender Resorce Centre Training
- Hotel Elite,Thrissur
GRCs in Aloor ,Annamanda ,Edavilangu,Varavoor,and pazhayannur block were selected for Migration Centre.One Day training given for Eloected Representatives ,CDS Chairpersons and DRPs of the same GRCs.Asmiya from palakad Snehitha took class on Migration centre.She also shared her experiences with migration centre which is already started in Palakad.

78 RPs were selected from all wards of 10 CDS.One day training organised for 78 RPs and 22 District RPs at Hotel Elite,Thrissur.Trained Core team RPs were handled the session.

Capacity Building Training for Community Counsellors at Conference hall,District Hospital ,Thrissur.Training will be conducted from 11.08.17 TO 12.08.17. Bhoomika Counselling Centre will lead the counselling sessions and Gynecology department will lead classes on sex education and family counselling

Amrutham Karkidakam Food Fest

A special food fest commenced at Collectorate Compound from 01-08-2017 to 05-08-2017. The programme was inaugurated by ADM, Thrissur and presided by DMC, Thrissur.In the fest a wide varieties of dishes are available from 11 AM to 6 PM like Navara kanji, Marunnu Kanji, Jeeraka kanji, Pal Kanji, Steam Cake, Marunnu Unda etc... The programme is promoting Green Protocol
