 District kudumbashree Mission organised a one day meeting on February 6th for introducing newly elected Cds chairpersons.District Panchayth president V.K Madhu is the chief guest of the function. District mission coordinator Dr. K R Shaiju, Assistant Mission Coordinators Shani Nijam, Siyad S, Jyothi K Nair, Anjana M S, DPMs will introduce their departments. 

• Mariya Rani,Sreekaryam

A three day residential training program is going to be conducted for MEC's selected for SVEP project. The training is meant  for the capacity building of MEC's. The training covers modules on Entrepreneurship development. The training is scheduled on january 22nd  to 24th @ Mariya rani Training Center Sreekarym.

• Kalabavan Theater Vazhuthacaud

kudumbashree district Mission is organising a Film Festival for Balasabha Chidren on 20th January 2018 at Kalabavan theater Vazhuthacaud. the program aims to familiarize World Cinema to our Children. And it provides a great oppurtunity for them to interact with Directors and Actors. National Awrad Winner Sidhartha Siva, and Director Miss Nayana Sooryan will participate in the Function. There is a visit to Chinthranjali Studio on the Second day.

• Ponmudi

"Ponmudiyilekk Snehapoorvam 2018" is the event conducted by Kudumbashree District Mission for felicitating current CDS Chairpersons piror to election.District Kudumbashree initiated this function in Ponmudi Hill Station. The event aims of a gathering function of term completing  CDS Chairpersons. The function was enriched by Cultural events and old memories of CDS Chairpersons.

• Priyadarshini Hall,East Fort

 Scheduled Tribe Sustainable Development Project  by Kudumbashree is being implemented in the lives of the tribal and social and women empowerment areas.Today, the local culture and the arts of the native people are going to end. The Kudumbasree district mission is to introduce the unique arts of the tribal community in the district,traditional diversity and taste of the adjacent food. Natives also arranged the exhibition of  traditional equipment,food supplies etc.

• Anad Government L.P.S School

As part of the Woman Empowerment self education program Kudumbashree District Mission organised a Blood donation Camp "Jeeva Raksha Sannada Raktha Dana Sena". The All Kerala BLood Donors Society which distribuite blood to blood banks in district government hospitals give techinal support for the formation of Jeeva Raksha Sannada Raktha Dana Sena. The Woman community is developed to increase the Health sector and to promote the social interference of woman in society.The District Level Inaguration of Blood Donation Camp was Inauguarted by MlLA Adv. D.K Murali.Kudumbashree District Mission co ordinator Dr. K.R Shaiju give the Welcome Speech. All Kerala BLood Donors Society district President Dr. Koshi.M.Joerge was the Chief Orater. Anad Panchayath Representatives , All Kerala BLood Donors Society General Secratary Ratheesh Sahadevan, Assistant District Mission Cordinator Shani Nijam were part of the function.

• ICAR, Sreekariyam, Trivandrum

ICAR- CTCRI in association with Kudumbashree district mission, Trivandrum have organized 8 off campus and 10 in campus training cum exhibition programmes on Value added products and Enterpreneurship development in tuber crops. This event is planned to sensitize young entrepreneurs/ farmers/ self help group with the different avenues in different sectors.

• Manikal

Haritha Karma Sena is the Program Organised by Kudumbashree Mission in hands with Clean kerala Mission and Haritha Kerala Mission. The Program aims to make awareness about cleanliness in kerala and to make kerala Contamination free. The project campaigns about the importants of collectiong waste from each and every residence and aware about the effectiveness of  haritha Karma sena  through kudumbashree members

• District Mission Office

SVEP is a project to earn money by finding out the scope of enterprises and  to find out the women and their family members those intrested in such enterprises.  This project is already started in two districts of kerala, Pathanamthitta and Ernakulam. Vamanapuram Block is selected from Thiruvananthapuram District. it includes Manikal,Nellanad, Pullambara, Kallara, Pangod, Peringamala, Nandiyod Grama Panchayths. The detailed Project Report is given to the Central Government. The project aims to start 2000 enterprises within 4 years. And 6 crore Rs is available for the Project.

• Joseph Mundassery Hall, Pattam

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana organised one day training camp for rural area women and men. The program was inagurated by Vattiyurkav MLA K.Muraleedaran." This type of training is very useful for students,so they must utilise it well " said K.Muraleedaran. This program is organized to increase the confidence level of students and to find out their ability within themself. Kudumbashree District Mission ADMC Jyothi.K.Nair gave the Welcome Speech.  Kudumbashree Director Nisha.S presided the function. DDU-GKY chief Operating Officer Dr. Praveen.C.S, DDU-GKY State Program Manager Liyopole gave the felicitation. Kudumbashree District Mission District Program Manager Rohini A.M gave the Vote of Thanks.

• Vembayam Panchayath

"Sreenivasa Ramanujan" balasabha  library inaguarated in karakkod ward of Vembayam Grama Panchayath. Thiruvananthapuram district Panchayath President V.K Madhu Inaguarated the Function. Ward member P.Jayachandran gave the Welcome Speech. Educational and Health standing Committe Chairman Advocate Thekada Anilkumar was  the presidential address. Thiruvanathapuram Assistant DIstrict Mission officers Siyad.S and Shani Mol. A gave the Felicitation.

Sreenivasa Ramanujan is the First library for Children in Thiruvananthapuram District.Children collected the books through "Pusthaka Yathra" throught out the District. Now they have a collection of 542 books. Balasabha President V.Viji submitted the Report. Secratary S.kailas gave the Vote of Thanks. Many Perfomance of Children held after the Function.

• Greenfield Stadium

Conducted food fest in Greenfield stadium.Cafe Kudumbashree stalls set up at Greenfield Stadium during T20 Cricket Match on 7 November 2017 won hearts. 40 counters were opened by Kudumbashree women at the venue under the leadership of 25 units from Trivandrum and other districts. 16 units were from Trivandrum and the rest from the districts like Kannur, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Alappuzha and kottayam. Cuisines from Travancore, Kochi and Malabar were served.The cafe Kudumbashree units offered snacks, fresh juice and steamed snacks. The food was cooked under the leadership of 150 women at the central kitchens set up at Sreekaryam and Kazhakoottam. The cuisines offered at the stalls were of high demand and it added more energy to the Cricket lovers

• kuttichal, Mookothivayal

Kudumbashree District Mission, Scheduled Tribal Sustainable development project conducted an Oorulsavam in Mukkuvathivayal,Kuttichal Grama Panchayth. Mukkuvathivayal is 14km away from kottoor in wild forest. Mukkuvathivayal is a settelment situated at the vale of Agasthyamala. Majority of the member of 27 settlments attended the Oorulsavam. Grama Panchayath President J.Manikandan inagurated the Function.  Settlement Gaffer Villan kani give the presidential address. There was great involvement  of Ward member V. Ramesh.

Standing Committe Chairperson Nabeesath, Block Member Mini, Cds chairperson Prabha, ICDS employee Shahanas, District Mission members, Animators, Promoters participated in the Function. There was many programs by the Ooru resident's." The soul of our nation exist in woman, they must be stregenthend, they dosent need to suffer" said the Panchayath President.

• Putharikandam Maithanam

The Anathapuri fest organized by Malayala Manorama is highlighted with the café kudumbhashree food court organized by district kudumbashree mission Thiruvananthapuram.  The fest is in progress from November 22nd to December 4th. Anathapuri fest is one of the best and attractive fest hosted in the state. Kudumbashrre café has given the opportunity to taste the variety of Malabar food for the people of Trivandrum. Thiruvanthapuram Sub collector Divya Iyer inaugurated the food court. Five product stalls are also available except the food court.

This is exactly the brand building of Cafe Kudumbashree. They aim two things, that to give hospitality to the public and to introduce healthy food habits for the public. This is a great opportunity for livelihood development. They brought variety of food around Kerala to Thiruvananthapuram. This aims the food promotion from Kasargod district to Thiruvananthapuram district. They made the foods from hill area to coastal area. They introduced the variety of tastes for the residents of Thiruvananthapuram. Café kudumbashree took initiative for 1400 enterprises presently. Through this initiative project of Café kudumbashree they aware the public about the diversity of food.

“Café kudumbashree is one of the best initiatives of Kudumbashree. The stalls should be improvised by narrating stories and history of the tastes from other districts may enrich the minds of people. The food court is very attractive and tasty” proposed by the Sub collector Divya Iyer.
