AboutNotebooks & Kitchen Utensils for distribution to the flood-affected people at Kunnamkulam Municipality
For helping the flood affected people from various districts of kerala, Kunnamkulam Municipality has been came forward with a new intiative called " Changathi Pothi ". With related to it, a meeting of head of the institutions of various schools which comes under kunnamkulam municipal area has been held at Kunnamkulam Municipality for the initiative " Changathi Pothi ". Each and every student of the school should bring the un-used steel & aluminium kitchen utensils , notebooks, dress materials from their home and to be given to the staff members of the school. The collected items will be then passed to the concerned ULB staffs in the Kunnamkulam Municipality. The Kunnamkulam Municipality will then send the required items to the flood affected people of various districts in kerala. These collected items are given as a helping hand to the flood affected people said by Kunnamkulam Municipal Secretary Shri K.K Manoj. With related to it, the items such as steel plates, pressure cookers, study materials, notebooks were given to the Kunnamkulam Municipal Chairperson Smt. Seetha Raveendran by students of Govt.Boys Higher Secondary School, Kunnamkulam & NSS Volunteers. The fund collected for the school onam celebrations by the students has been utilised for it. Higher seondary school prinicpal Smt. Ashalatha, Kunnamkulam Municipal Vice-Chairman Shir. P.M Suresh, Education standing committee Chairperson Smt. Misha Sebastian, NSS Co-ordinator Smt. Shobana, P.T.A President T.Mukundhan were made their presence in the function. As a first step, collected items will be distributed to the flood affected people in the Pullu region , village in Thrissur district said by Kunnamkulam Municipal Secretary Shri K.K Manoj.

Kunnamkulam ULB Staffs being a role model team, where expanding their flood relief activities to the various parts of kerala and with in the ULB areas by providing cleaning services, food, clothes, notebooks & study materials etc. A group of 20 kunnamkulam ULB staffs were engaged for 2 day cleaning activities at colonies in thiruvalla municipal area such as Aadambadham, Mangallasery & Njavanamkuzhi under the supervision of Kunnamkulam Municipal Shri K.K Manoj
