Women Blood Donors Group

Nothing can be replaced for Human Blood. Blood Donation Force is organised as part of the Woman Empowerment Program of Kudumbashree. In Corporation with Grama Panchayath Thiruvanathapuram Kudumbashree Mission is going to organise blood donors group among Woman. This aims to help Woman in Social Development, to improve their Health Conditions, to make available of Blood for several lives.

Snehitha Gender Help Desk @ School level

Snehitha Gender Help Desk is to provide help, support to those women and children who are in distress and facilitating the women in distress to access the service of other institutional agencies to address the issues. Snehitha help desk at school level aims to reduce the increasing atrocities against children. There are several limitations in controlling these Malpractices from the begining. The Counselling classes provided for the children may help them to identify their issues in the starting itself and to solve those problems. The first initiative of Snehitha Help desk at schools started in Government Model Girls Higher Secondary School Pattam on November 8th by Honourable Minister of Local Self Government K.T Jaleel.

Kudumbashree Responsible Tourism Tie up

RT Mission agreed to provide special Training for Kudumbashree Canteen units and those units will be showcased in RT Mission website. Local ME Products and the products crafted BUDS School students would be displayed and marketed with the assistance of RT Mission. Kudumbashree travels will be provided with additional training by RT Mission team to showcase the team as Travel Chauffeurs.

Ooru level Aadhar Adalat

Aadhar Adalat is organised in koottur of kottichal Grama panchayath on 5/8/2017. From the 87 applications,50 people attended the Adalat. Thet take action to give Identity cards and Aadhar Cards to thirty people including Children. The program was conducted with the help of Aadhar agency UIDAI by their mobile unit.

Bank Linkage Loan Mela conducted in Kadinamkulam Grama Panchayath Hall in Association with Union Bank of India ,Menamkulam on 19-5-2017 and 21-6-2017.21 NHG got Bank Linkage Loan(14070000/-One Crore Forty Lakh Seventhy Thousand)

Special Project for HIV Patients

This project aims to give special skill training for HIV Patients in the District. The training is provided to those beneficiaries with help of VIHAN in Trivandrum.

Koothambalam

Koothambalam is a joint initiative of Kudumbashree and DIstrict Panchayat. This project aims to promote and protect ethnic and traditional art forms of Kerala. This project aims to give Training for the people who are intrested in ethinic and traditional art forms like Thayambaka, Shingarimelam, Band melam etc. And the project includes giving financial help for those people who wanted to buy musical instruments. The main aim of the Project is to protect the traditional art forms which are abolishing day by day. And the project focus to introduce new art forms to the public.

Padheyam

Padheyam is a Special Project implemented by Kudumbashree jointly with District panchayath introduced in 2016-2017. The Project aims to provide food for those people who are not able to get enough food on a daily basis. This is the dream project of District Panchayath President V.K Madhu. the food supply units are selected from the panchayaths as per the guidance of cds.As part of the Project kuttichal,Vithura,Pallikal,Nagarur,Kadinamkulam,Pothencode, Aaryamkode,Koottukaal,Kunnathukaal,Cherunniyoor are selected as the recipients.
