KANAKEZHUTHU - A need based basic accounting training for ST NHG members
- Integrated Rural Technology Centre ,Mundur
A residential training for ST NHG members named"Kanakezhuthu " held at IRTC Mundur in Palakkad on August 19 th & 20 th.this was an district initiative identifying the needs of ST NHGs.They lack awareness on basic accounting and money management.54 women representing the ST NHGs participated in the programme.

FOOD FESTIVAL 'ADUKKALA'

An Ethnic food festival named 'ADUKKALA' was conducted from august 4 to august 7 at Town hall Annex . Food fest was divied into three sections "karkidaka Kanji corner " which served different type of kanjis which is good fro health like 'navadanyakanji ', cherupayar kanji , pal kanji , chamma kanji etc . Second there was Kappa corner which serves different type of products usein kappa . And there was a separate section for "TRIBAL FOOD " ,food made by people from attapadi .

The complete literacy programme for tribal population of Palakkad named "Uyirppu" was inaugurated by the President of Kozhinjambara Panchayath Ms. A K Babitha.The programme held at the Panchayath meeting hall of LSGI Kozhinjambara.This is an initiative launched by Kudumbashree mission Palakkad.
