Agathirahithakeralam– Selection Criteria
If a family satisfies 7 out of the 9-point criteria and 1 additional criterion (Table 1), the family will be deemed as a destitute and will be a beneficiary of the program.

| 5 | Family without an employed adult (has job less than 10 days a month) |
| 6 | Women headed family |
| 7 | Family with members having physical/mental disability or chronic disease |
| 8 | Family belonging to SC/ST/Fishermen communities |
| 9 | Family with illiterate adults |
