Kudumbashree promotes livelihood activities by encouraging formation of individual and group enterprises. As of 01/07/2017, there are 31,000 enterprises in the state. In order to improve the performance of enterprises, charge is given to State Program Managers, and Assistant State Program Managers of Kudumbashree State Mission for monitoring of enterprises. They are expected to study and bring policy level initiatives to empower and improve the production and profit of these micro enterprises.
