Pampadumpara CDS got first position from Idukki district in the selection process to find out the best CDS in the district.They got that place not only by the number of Micro Enterprises but by their kindness by extending their hand to support others.
" We does our duties not only for achieving the first place but we try to do our maximum to support others through the programmes planned by Kudumbasree"-the words of CDS Chairperson Shyja Sunny.With the aim of destitute free kerala the gov. of kerala introduced a programme named Asraya ,the CDS built five homes with the support of Kudumbasree.All of this five families had a low economic background they doesnt even dreamt of a well constructed home but now they are very happily living in their own homes.
And they extend their hands to help many patients from poor economic background.They gave 2.45 Lakhs to a patient named Nagarajan who face kidney failure for his operation."once I saw him in my way to Office he hold my hand and told me that , I will not forget you and also the favour you did to me I will always thankfull to you, actually my eyes were filled with tears". Actually her eyes were filled with tears when she said it to me as the time she met him.A woman who worked as an accountant met with a disease in the Aorta tube and she neede an open heart surgery and the CDS did the necessary help.
There are 209 Micro enterprises in total in the Pampadumpara CDS.In this Dhanalaxmi Apparels,Sanitary Napkin unit,PSC Coaching Centre are the MEs works in different style and it succeeded in their different mode of working.Manju Mathew who selected as the "best farmer in -young women category " in state is a member of this CDS.They executed a plan to make the "MUTTA GRAMAM" plan to be a success- they give eggs to schools with the help of panchayath and incase if the eggs are still left, they give it to wholesale market.
There are 266 NHGs in total.And a new four NHGs and 10 micro enterprises are started in 2017-2018.They want to do many more helps through Kudumbasree.And a complaint they want to tell is Kudumbasree conducting many more time consuming meetings because of this they can't complete their works.
