Snehitha Awareness Postcard distribution to all NHGs.

Star King Tribal Youth Club (2017)

Started one Tribal Youth Club in Dendikkombu tribal kudy in Kanthaloor Panchayat and conducted cleaning and maintenance work at compound of community hall.

Trbal products outlet - NTFP outlet (2017)

Started one outlet for marketing the tribal products at Venmony in Kanjikuzhy Panchayat.The kiosk inaugurated by Gramapanchayat president on 27th.

Gurukulam 2nd Phase (2017)

One month residential PSC coaching for Tribal candidates for LGS at Adimaly completed on 26th October 2017.

Farm Fresh Vegetable Unit (2017)

A new enterprise in Kanjikuzhi CDS started in the name of "Thakkali farm fresh vegetable unit". They supplied packed organic fresh vegetables in 500 gm, 1kg packet as per order from offices and quarters.

In Vazhathope Gramapanchayat a new Microenterprise started and registered. Strawberry Kudumbashree Event Management Group.

Little Dolphins- Balasabha Swimming Training Inaugurated (2017)

Little Dolphins Balasabha Swimming training as part of Life skill Education Programme inaugurated on 8/7/2017 at Kodikkulam Gramapanchayat. Kodikkulam Gramapanchayat president Smt. Sherly Antony inaugurated the function.

CDS LEVEL - NHG CLUSTER MEETING (2017)

District Mission planned to conduct NHG level cluster meeting in all over the district. The main purpose of the meeting is to convey the importance of Magazine subscription, to follow green protocol in all NHG members, Importance of CDS Election 2017 , Completion of auditing 2015 - 2016, Jeevanam 2017 Campaign, Financial Literacy Campaigns, JLG Linkage Campaigns, ST, Balasabha, Gender and other programmes. For this, assigned 3 CDSs for each District Mission staffs, it includes Office Secretarial Staff, NRLM Accountant, District Programme Managers and Block Co-ordinators. One or two NHG representatives are the participants of this meeting.

Intervention in Vattavada CDS (2017)

In Vattavada Grama Panchayat, the NHGs are working seasonally because some of the NHG members are also from Tamil Nadu so they migrate to their native place in some occassions and that time the NHGs are inactive. Because of that the other NHG oriented works are not functioned well. In this situation District Mission conducted Special Intervention in Vattavada Grama Panchayat for collecting NHG Details and conducted cluster meeting for giving orientation about Kudumbashree programmes to NHG members.

Financial Literacy Campaign in Focused area with the Co-operation of Idukki District Co-operative Bank (2017)

In Idukki District, the NHG members of two blocks mostly are estate workers or tribal people. Because of that they faced some problems to get loan from banks. So Kudumbashree District Mission planned to conduct Financial Literacy Campaign in remoted panchyats with the support of Idukki District Co-operative Bank.

MICRO ATM - A project which lead to financial independence of CDS of Idukki District (2017)

MICRO ATM - A project which lead to financial independence of CDS of Idukki district. Idukki District co-operative Bank will give financial assistance with loans, free ATM machines, unconditional credit for starting micro ATMs at each CDS. Programme will be piloted in 24 CDS in 8 blocks of Idukki district. There will be a business correspondent of bank who may be a CDS member or a person appointed by CDS whose salary may be fixed later. Micro ATM allows small sums of withdrawal and remittance along with other money transactions with other Banks, mobile recharges utility bill payments, etc. Transaction charge given by Banks and commission from Banks adds to income.

NTFP OUTLETS (2017)

Large number of tribal people is in idukki district especially in Adimali, Devikulam, Idukki and Peerumedu Blocks surviving with NTFP.But the important problem is the insufficient marketing facilities and strategies.

In this situation we are planning to arrange marketing facilities and techniques in 5 places as pilot basis.

GURUKULAM 2017 - Intensive Residential PSC coaching for ST candidates In Idukki District (2017)

This project under the guidance of Idukki district administration and financial assistance is from Tribal Department. Implimenting agency is Kudumbashree Idukki District Mission.This is the first time in india like this project. A special monitoring committee under district collector wiil monitor this project. This project will implement by converging with other departments and LSGDs.

This project is intented to stregthen the tribal candidates applied for the Kerala PSC- LDC test in Idukki District. The main objective of the project is to make qualify all candidates in the coming PSC – LDC Examination in 2017 . The targeted no. is 200. Training agency, Training Venue, acoomodation, food, other facilities are included in this project. Selection of candidates, special motivation programme, seminars etc are also includes in this projct. The duration of the project is 2 months. This Programes starts on 29th May and ended on 29th July 2017 with which the LDC examination is over.
